So the h6300 has been announced in the US as the h6315, and as we all know by now it has quad-band GSM/GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a built-in camera. But what will we see in other countries?
Well, for starters, Europe will be getting the iPAQ h6340 - a camera-less version - at the end of September 2004. Australia will be seeing the iPAQ h6350 in October, which does include the camera - it's unclear as yet what difference there is from the h6315 in this model, but it seems certain that the h6315 designation is exclusive to T-Mobile; perhaps the h6350 is functionally identical to the h6315, less the T-Mobile software and perhaps some of the h6315 accessories.
The Australian iPAQ h6350 will be available from Harvey Norman and Domayne - other retailers are not yet known.
We'll keep you posted as any further news comes to light.
Thanks to forum users ausindo and Radar for their information on the Australian model.
