Is the revolution here? Voda has just cut the price of their GPRS plans by two-thirds. Will the others follow. Read for more information.

I just wanted to point out an article I saw on News.com.au today.  Apparently, Vodafone are about to cut the price of their GPRS data packages by two-thirds with their "unlimited" plans now cost $49.95 per month (subject to their fair usage policy of course).

This is great news, and a step in the right direction for the aging technology.  Providing optimal speeds of 144kbps, it would be great to be able to surf for real when out and about without worrying about your download caps.

I am hoping that other providers like Telstra and Optus will soon follow suit and drop the rediculous prices that they also charge.

Read the article for more.
