Erm... well... it's like this, you see...

As some of you might have noticed, our illustrious site admin Matt, has been rather conspicuous by his absence of late. Unfortunately this has meant that all those wonderful things he does so well (like the editorials and giveaways) fell to his wonderful band of moderators... who promptly dropped the ball!! I have a horrible feeling that, if it weren't for tpillinger's timely reminder, this month's, err, last mon..., umm, August's Giveaway would still be undecided. Sorry...!

Anyway, enough of excuses, on to the details of the winners. 

Giveaway 1: Mr Gadget USB Pen. 

We wanted to see you working hard in the Forums to show us just how much you deserve this prize. We wanted to see some really helpful or informative posts that stood out to us.

This one was a hard one to decide, there were numerous contenders who provided quality posts but in the end there could only be one winner... kevinnugent!  Congrat's Kev, Mr. Gadget will be sending you your prize shortly.

Giveaway 2: JAVO Bundle for XDA II / i-mate Pocket PC Phone

We wanted to see some creative writing from our users and boy, did we get some - from poems to Haiku, we had a wide variety of entries,  unfortunately we had to exclude the late ones to be fair to those who posted on time.

Again this was hard to decide but at least we had three prizes (one main and two minor) to offer.  First prize of a JAVOskin case, JAVOscreen Screen Protector, and JAVOsync Sync Charge cable goes to Homer, with second and third prizes of JAVOSkins going to DRM and tallmantim! Well done folks, your hard work paid off.

Giveaway 3: Flic Cordless Barcode Reader

We wanted to see your Today screen. We wanted to see what people do with theirs, and how cool and useful they can really be.

Once again we had a good variety of styles of entry (though I still don't think anyone beat mine!).  This was probably the most difficult to decide since visual appreciation came into it too, but in the end longhaul came out in front for his beautifully skinned and complex screen shot.
