Could Daves dream be coming true?

A couple of weeks ago I noticed some news articles floating around informing of a Firefox for the Pocket PC project.  This got me super excited but it appears as though I was a bit too eagre at this point in time.

It is true that there is a project on the Mozilla.org website, named Minimo, which has been setup to develop a lightweight version of the popular Mozilla based browser for palmtops, but at this stage the project is aimed at linux based devices, which appear to be quite few and far between.  The good news, however, is that recently there has been a lot of progress on the project and infact Minimo version 0.3 is currently work in progress.

Users of the very popular Firefox browser will know that the open-source projects of the Mozilla organisation are of a very high quality, generally excel beyond what is offered of alternatives and progress to completion at a great rate.  I for one am looking very forward to seeing this project progress and would love to try it on the Windows Mobile platform.
