Ok, so the editorials have been a little thin on the ground of late - but this is one that one user in particular will be very pleased about.

Our good friend Arnold (a.k.a. Mr. Gadget) has kindly donated a wonderful give-away surprise for the 30,000th poster - a  Mr.Gadget BLITZ 256MB USB Disk Card .

We'd noticed of late that we'd passed the 5,000 user mark and were approaching to 30K post mark - how to celebrate we wondered?  As is often the case Arnold came up with the goods in the shape of this rather snazzy credit card shaped USB storage device, as reviewed recently by Dave, and we decided to make it a complete surprise, letting fate choose the lucky recipient.

As the target drew closer we were a little concerned about how we might identify the correct poster, without easy access to the database (Matt and Emma are a little busy these days).  As fortune would have it though, two very sad, sorry, dedicated people (myself and FredS) ended up on-line at the time of the momentus event... only to find that it was one of the Mod's who ended up hitting the mark!

Almost another twenty minutes passed before a valid post was made by a non-excempt user and that user was.... foxnolds!

This program is being updated nearly every Day! But NOT on main page or from Handango, pocketgear etc.

Only in the Forums can you get the latest version - currently 2.0.1.30 to try. On Monday there will be yet another version...

Both Shadowlee and FTO were close contenders but shadowlee went off-line about fifteen minutes too early and FTO came in eight minutes too late, new user kunz also timed it wrong.
