Now that we finally have the XDA II in our hot little hands, I'm excited to see that the myxphone website has been updated to include a walkthrough (similar to that provided for the XDA II). No firm release dates as yet for Australia - it was supposed to have been released in Malaysia and Hong Kong last week, although I haven't seen anything to indicate that this has yet happened.

The device - which should ideally provide us with the "consumer" version of the XDA II - may be released as early as mid-January, but given our past problems in firm dates on these things, we're not placing too much credibility in this. It could yet slip to February.

Nonetheless, I will be looking forward to a Bluetooth enabled version of my trusty old QTek 7070, with additional RAM, SDIO, triband, and a built-in camera to boot. We'll see how it stacks up against the XDA II as a phone just as soon as we get our little hands on it!
