A friend of mine has just gotten a new PDA and gave me their old HP iPAQ rx 1950 to play with - but they've only got the PDA itself and lost the original charger, the USB sync cable and whatever else that usually comes with it.

Can someone give me some advice on this?

I'm wondering:
1) What do I need for the PDA to work?
I figured that i'd at least need a power charger. Maybe a USB sync cable too? I've heard/read that some USB sync cables can double up and be used for charging too. Any thoughts?

2) HP-branded or some dodgy stuff?
This might be a bit of a weird question, but since the PDA is not new and hasn't been used for a while, I'm not really that keen on spending too much buying accessories to try it out. The HP accessories are quite expensive - it seems like I can buy a second hand PDA (which would include the cable etc) for just a bit more. But on the other hand, can a cheap-ish non-branded cable work just as well?

3) Where to get this stuff? (I'm in Sydney)

Thanks in advance.
