Hi Guys,

Really hope you can help

Treo 750 using a Bury 8 wired car kit.
When a call comes in or I try to make a call, the speakers in the car (I am using the cars speakers) mute normally as they should, but the volume from the phone to the speakers is so low that you simply can't here it.

It used to work fine until I upgraded to Windoes mobile 6.

Am I missing something in the settings of the phone. I have soft booted a couple of times and now hard booted but to no avail. Other than this issue, the phone works fine.

Regards and thanks.

My guess would be that one of the terminals in the connector was mapped/remapped/unmapped under WM6 such that the car kit is getting the wrong signal. Short of reflashing it with WM5, you may have a hard time identifying the flaw.

Mike

Look here for my articles and hardware & software that I recommend.

The Doomsday Clock - It's five minutes to midnight - think about it... do something about it!

Psion II CM -> Psion II XP -> Psion II LZ -> Psion 3 -> Psion 5 -> O2 Xda II -> O2 Xda IIi -> Psion 5 -> O2 Xda II + Nokia 3310 -> Dell Inspiron 9400 running Ubuntu + Nokia 6234 (no more Windows Mobile for me!)

My new device is Linux based and it doesn't include a camera, a phone or an MS operating system! Oh, and I also have a Topfield PVRt, a TomTom ONE and a Wii - all of which also use nice, stable Linux... luxury!
