Hi there,

I am having trouble sending (via bluetooth) large files, for example video's from my computer to my i-mate. I have a microSD card inserted and wish to send the file straight to that, but it seems that the default is to send to the phones memory and so in turn, the phone knocks it back becuase there is not enough memory capacity left. All I want to do is send a video to my phone and save it on my memory card, can someone help me please?

Thanks, bskel

bskel,
I don't use bluetooth file transfer much myself, but what I do instead that will let you save that video from your computer directly to your memory card is to use Activesync - next time your phone is synced to your computer, either go into File Explorer (or just click on Explorer in the Activesync window which does the same thing) and drag the video you want from the computer into the memory card on the phone (sometimes it can be a temperamental process, in which case copy the file, then right click on the memory card and paste).  This way you can also choose if you want the file to go to any subfolder in the memory card too...

An even quicker way, would be to use a Card reader....

Thats the only way I use if I'm transfering large files..
