According to user smartphone2000 in the microsoft.public.smartphone newsgroup, a Motorola handset has been previewed which is based upon the Windows Mobile 2003 platform. The phone incorporates a camera, external display, and external keypad - and flips open horizontally to reveal a keyboard (in a manner very reminiscent of a Nokia Communicator).

Links to two articles have been provided - one Czechoslovakian, and one Italian. As we're unable to read either of them natively, we can only rely upon the MobilMania.cz article that mentions Windows Mobile for further corroboration to the newsgroup claim.
It looks like a really innovative phone for the MS Smartphone platform. We assume that this is not the much-rumoured MPx220, but rather a further model to place Motorola into direct competition with the successful Nokia Communicator line.
We'll keep you posted as further information emerges.
